Tutorial: how to make an amigurumi bear
The first tutorial is the cutest out of them all and is primarily for children. It’s two teddy bears that are made using the amigurumi technique. So soft wearing a stripy scarf, they’re the ideal cuddling companions. What’s more, they’re really easy to make! The yarns, Piuma, a 100% wool and Cyrcus, an Alpaca mix have been used to make them.
Tutorial: how to make a top down raglan sleeve cardigan
The second Christmas tutorial is a multicoloured girls’ cardigan. Its soft pale colours, make it perfect for those who fancy making a classic garment with that hint of novelty, which is guaranteed from our Piuma and for the first time you can see it with a distinctive spray paint print! Check out the tutorial and the 5 brand-new colours in this new collection!
Tutorial: how to make a felt basket
The third tutorial is for a felt basket for panettone, the Italian Christmas cake, so that you add a really unique piece to the table this year, customizing it how you want. We’ve used felt and faux leather ribbons and we absolutely love how it’s turned out!
Tutorial: how to make felt stars and hearts for the Christmas tree
The fourth, and last one, instead, is a two in one tutorial for those Christmas junkies who love tree decorations and are always on the look out for new ones! These are stars and hearts with warm colours and made using the needle felting technique.
We hope that this brief insight into the five super crafty tutorials has tickled your fancy and given you the starting point to create something special, but above all maybe given you some ideas as Christmas presents.
Talking about Christmas, we definitely advise you to read a 100% crafty Christmas where the yarns and felt are again at centre stage but in a whole different role!
